Hey Coworkers! 

We know that the summer can be exhausting (and expensive) with all of the travel, kiddos, activities… it all piles on! Sometimes you just want to go somewhere, enjoy a fun night with the family and not think about much! 

Lucky for you, there are soooo many fun events happening in the DTL (Downtown Lawrenceville) this summer. Most of them are free, just come as you are kind of events. We made a list of some of our favorites that are coming up – we’d love to see you out on the Lawn! 

May 20, 2022 – Guns + Roses Tribute Band

Okay, so fun, right? I LIVE for 80’s rock (and Jasper loves to air guitar) so you know we’ll be on the Lawn for this one! This event is free to attend and there will be vendors with food for sale. 

June 17, 2022 – Juneteenth Celebration Concert with Dane Caston

This is such a fun event – Cornerstone’s very own, Dane Caston will be headlining this show on the Lawn for Lawrenceville’s annual Juneteenth celebration. Dane + Chari Caston have been a part of Cornerstone for about 3 years, it has been a joy to see their non-profit + family grow! I know they would love to see all of the familiar faces for his show and the celebration! 

July 1, 2022 – Prelude to the 4th 

Everyone’s FAVORITE event in Lawrenceville, The Prelude to the 4th is back! Crossing our fingers for no rain this year, haha! The entire square completely shuts down and is filled with all the great food + vendors. Live music is always on the agenda, and the night is topped off with an amazing firework show. This is the one event that you will not want to miss!
