Family Fun this Summer

Summer has finally made its appearance–kids are out of school, which means you get eight more hours every day with the kiddos. Depending on your outlook, and how much you love your kids (totally kidding), this is a good thing or a bad thing! One thing I can say for sure: you’re probably running out of ways to keep your kids entertained. With about a month and a half left before school starts back, I figured you needed some fun (and cheap) activities to help keep the kiddos entertained!

  1. AMC Movie Camp – Every Wednesday, AMC has $4 tickets for kids! This includes a movie, popcorn and drink for $4 – which is such a steal! Check out movies, times, and locations for this promotion at AMC’s website!
  2. Local Splash pads are always fun! Enjoy some sunshine and let the kids run all their energy out–all while not worrying pool safety, floats, and all the stuff involved in a pool day. Our favorite splash pads are located at The Mall of Georgia and Suwanee Town Center!
  3. Don’t miss out on making a rainy day fun! Stars and Strikes offers free bowling to kids every day.  Go to the Stars and Strikes website to register your kids so they can bowl free from now until August 22nd!
  4. Liberty Book Store in downtown Lawrenceville has the cutest reading nook! One of our other favorite things about Liberty is their trade-in program. You can take your old books and trade them in for credit towards used books they keep in the store. What a great way to clean out the bookshelves in your house and also get new and exciting books for the kids!

We are all about having fun and making memories this summer! Tell us your favorite things to do with the family and we’ll be sure to update this list!
