I was doing my morning Facebook and Instagram scroll this morning (bad habit, I know I know.) But I saw something that kinda stopped me in my tracks. It was a post from @Thegracescripts on Instagram. The post was a quote that said this: “If I could hear Christ praying for me in the next room, I would not fear a million enemies. Yet distance makes no difference, He is praying for me” – Robert Murray M’cheyne

I’m not really sure why this one post grabbed my attention so much – maybe it was the watercolor painting behind the quote, maybe Jesus was telling me to just stop, I really ca n’t pinpoint it. To be honest, I had to read it a few times to get it to sink in. Jesus, praying for me? The one that sits at the right hand of God? Why me? Why my struggles, my issues, my faults? The predicaments that I put myself in – because I am selfish and lazy and irresponsible? Why does He care?
