Day Job to Day Dreamer: Margaret Grove

The woman who inspired me the most is my aunt, Margaret Grove. In her late 40’s, after raising four children and going through a difficult divorce, she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a lawyer. She went to law school and graduated at the top of her class, later becoming a very successful attorney in Washington, DC. Because of the success she experienced, I learned it’s never too late to accomplish your goals and that women can excel in male dominated fields.

After following my dreams, I own/operate JEM Entertainment and bring over 30 years of experience, knowledge, and relationships to our services. Throughout my diverse career, I’ve filled roles as Special Events Coordinator, Marketing Director, Booking Agent, Promoter, Publicist, and Personal Manager. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with Amy Grant, Patti Labelle, Michelle Branch, Little Big Town, Donny Osmond, Nelly, and former President Jimmy Carter. However, over the past 10 years, I’ve devoted myself to developing and educating rising artists in Atlanta while also managing International Pop Artist Norwood.

I am also the co-founder of Total Vocal Experience, offering affordable professional vocal training to singers, actors and public speakers via in-home lessons, skype lessons, or online self-paced courses. For more information, visit www.jem-entertaintment.com or www.totalvocalexperience.com.
