Food Truck Friday – Duluth

Enjoy exotic flavors in a mobile vending setting with amazing cuisine at Duluth’s Fridays-N-Duluth. Food Truck Friday will take place every Friday from 6-9PM, May through September alongside Fridays-N-Duluth.  Enjoy a night filled with live music, Food Trucks, entertainment and more!

 

SculpTour – Suwanee

This is the fifth installment of Suwanee’s popular SculpTour, a temporary sculpture exhibition that encompasses 20 sculptures and eight additional permanent exhibits. This walkable outdoor exhibit of original sculptures is centered around Suwanee’s Town Green, a great place for lunch, drinks, or spending the day at the park.

 

Farmers Market – Suwanee

The Suwanee Farmers Market is open from 8:00am-12:00pm Saturdays, May 12 through October 6, at Town Center Park. “The Suwanee Farmers Market has a loyal customer and farmer base,” notes Suwanee Events Manager Amy Doherty. “Our market is almost as much a social event as it is an opportunity to access locally grown produce and a variety of other items, such as salsa, honey, eggs and meat, and baked goods.”

 

Vivian Antonini Art Show – Sugar Hill

Antonini’s art focuses on multiple themes using vast textures colors. Last year, her talents were awarded with the People’s Choice Award at the  2017 Sugar Rush Juried Art Show. Her show is held on the first level of Sugar Hill City Hall.

 

Historical Sovereign Scavenger Hunt – Lawrenceville

Get involved in this fun and unique scavenger hunt! Stop by the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse front office and pick up a list of specific historical items located throughout the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse and the grounds surrounding the Courthouse. Using the list as your guide, spend time getting to know the history of Gwinnett County while locating all items on the list. Bring your completed list back to the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse front desk to receive your bicentennial prize and have your name inscribed on a “Sovereign Scavenger” certificate to be displayed for all to see.

 

Movies Under the Stars + Summer Concert Series

Families are invited to bring along chairs and blankets, sit back and relax, and enjoy a free viewing of fan-favorite movies, as well as concert performances from local artists. Each week on Saturdays from 5-7 p.m., audiences can enjoy live music then at approximately 7:15 p.m., the featured movie will begin in The Village. A variety of fun games, bounce houses, summer snack concessions and more will be available for all attendees to enjoy! Guests ages 21 and older can enjoy a hand-crafted cocktail, beer or wine from select restaurants in The Village while relaxing and enjoying festivities.
